In my free time, I work as an educator – I am a part-time English-language teacher and instructor. In Japan, I am primarily teaching at KLC International and Universal Campus on a regular schedule.

The company is an eikaiwa conversation school and I am one of their trusted English teachers. I mainly focus on the reading, phonics, and conversational aspects of teaching. I tutor students from the elementary level to the high school level. While the classes follow standard English textbooks, I always incorporate my classes with dynamic games and interactive experiences.

I have a regular schedule and have excelled whenever called upon to conduct classes at UC. I am placed at the school’s Fushimi and Shiga branches and am currently teaching students at all levels: Immersion, Solo, BK, AK and Weekly-Adult classes.

As a VT, I have been sent to various Benesse BE Studio branches in Osaka, Shiga and Hyogo via an intermediary company, Cross the Border. I have been given the opportunity to teach students from EP and IP levels.

Private English Teacher
As a private hire, I teach children between the age of one to ten and offer a very adaptable and flexible English-language curriculum. Classes usually last for around two hours and will always have an emphasis on creativity, activeness and fun.

Group Leader
I assist in conducting 4-5 day English-language global studies and empowerment workshops in schools of various levels all around Japan. My work has taken me as far as Takaoka and Wakayama prefectures.

I am tasked to bring school kids to various cultural places in Kyoto, Nara and Hyogo Prefectures in cross-cultural and English language field trips. LbE also produces simple cultural workshops where I have been one of the cultural presenters.

I have mostly worked with the agency as a group leader to bring school kids around cultural sites in the Kyoto area, communicate with them in English, and teach them about my own culture and the culture of Kyoto.
